My Beloved Ghost

My Beloved Ghost

I’m calling up a ghost.
The one I want to see.
The one I thought that I had buried,
indefinitely.

I want to see your face.
I want to hear your voice.
I want you to drive me to the brink,
so that I’d have no choice.

But to succumb,
to the darkest of your charms.
To drown,
within the comfort of your arms.

To taste the ambrosia,
of your tender lips.
Watching your hand,
as it lies across my hips.

But alas,
you’re just a vivid memory.
Branded from the man,
that I forever carry with me.

My beloved ghost,
I miss you.
So much so,
that you will never truly know.
