Six Sentence Sunday – 9/11/2011

I’m not officially signed up to participate in Six Sentence Sunday today, but I’d like to post up six sentences for you to preview anyway. I promise that I’ll be officially signed up for next week, though. For a full FAQ as to what this is, you can find it HERE.

While I’ve never taken part before, it’s something that has peaked my interest for quite awhile. So today I’m taking a chance with it and seeing how it goes.

Below you’ll find the first 6 sentences of a work-in-progress. It has no name, as of yet, but I plan to keep sharing 6 more sentences of this story with you all every Sunday as I go along. Hopefully, by the time, it’s said and done, the book will be completed and ready for release.

Sample Chapter: Anticipation

Hiya, Peeps. How’s it going with you all?

I’ve been working on something new tonight. I know what you’re gonna say – that I already have several projects under my wing and I shouldn’t be writing new material.

I’m going openly blame my muse for this sudden burst of inspiration. Honest to goodness, he wouldn’t allow this idea to die, and kept pushing it and pushing it until I sat down tonight and gave free rein to what he wanted me to write. He’s been wanting me to write this little piece for days, I just kept putting it off till now.

The genre for this is Romance, Erotica. Yep, you heard it right. This had been a previously an untitled manuscript (utm, for short), but my muse has been quite attentive and decided to listen to a good friend’s suggestion. He has decreed that the book’s title shall be Anticipation, instead of allowing said name to be that of this first chapter. I must confess that I haven’t written this type of genre in years. There’s a long ass story behind it, but it would take forever to explain so we’ll leave things at that.

With that said, I’d like to share with you the first chapter of this manuscript. I hope you all enjoy it. Please, do let me know what you think of it.

Thank you kindly in advance! Continue reading

Sample Chapter: The Prophecy – Prophecy Foretold

The Prophecy Mini Book Cover Aloha, peeps.

Hope all of you are doing well today. Quite rainy here, but still peaceful, nonetheless.

I wanted to apologize for the delay in getting this chapter posted. I’ve been a tad busy these days with quite a few projects, as well as setting up some promotions/giveaways/etc . . . for my new books release next month.

To the left you can see a preliminary mini mock-up of the cover for The Prophecy. It still needs work, mind you, but I promise that it’ll be ready by the time the book is finished.

I do so hope that all of you enjoy this first chapter of the story. Would love to know what you all think in regards to it. So without further ado, here’s the chapter for you reading pleasure. Continue reading

Gaia’s Reprieve – Chapter 1

Not exactly sure where this story is leading, but I thought that I’d share what I’ve written, so far. Started this a little while ago out of the blue. Enjoy!

Chapter 1

Clamping his lips together, Cheyenne Holt fought the tears that threatened to spill down his cheeks as he smoothed away the stray raven curls that framed Ginny Mayweather’s pale face.

“I’m so sorry that I couldn’t save you,” he whispered softly.

Gazing down at her prone form, he wanted very much to trade his own life for hers. He hated himself for failing to protect her. It was the one thing that she had asked of him. The one request that he had not been able to fulfill. Ryan Creed had made sure of that. Continue reading
