Manning captured me from the very beginning; spiraling me into her post-apocalyptic world.  In this heart wrenching short story, we follow Annie as she leaves the safety of her home in search of means to provide for her family. As a mother myself, I felt the utter pain Annie went through leaving her children behind and the need to go out into the unknowing to ease her family’s hunger.

Hiya, folks. How’s it going?

As most of you know, I’ve several projects in the works and have been sharing snippets of what I’ve been working on as I go along.

These last few days I’ve been writing a paranormal romance story that didn’t have a name up until yesterday morning. This new novel is now called Haunted.

So I spent the better part of yesterday dilly-dallying. I shouldn’t have, but I admit it. Ironically, it felt great to take a little break from writing since I’ve been doing a lot of it lately.

I also spent some time messing around making some digital art. One of the things that I was working on was a cover for the short story that I wrote recently titled ‘Compromise of the Soul’.
